Asbestos Property Surveys (APS) — a division of Property Environmental Services. APS performs cost efficient surveys of residential properties and commercial buildings to meet the material analysis needs of owners, landlords, property managers, and asset managers. Through our nearly twenty years of experience we conduct surveys to identify the status of various building materials with respect to suspect asbestos containing materials. APS also can prepare and review Management Plans for buildings that contain asbestos that is being managed in-place.

APS abides by the standards and regulations of NESHAP (National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants) of the Clean Air Act (40 CFR 61, Subpart M). Sampling protocol is determined by both AHERA and ASTM E-2308 in determining the amount of samples obtained and the method that the samples are obtained.   

Through our laboratory relationships and local inspectors we are able to have our surveys expeditiously scheduled and performed with rapid report turnaround to limit any wait for government reporting or renovation or demolition schedules. All laboratories that perform analysis needs for APS are NVLAP and AIHA certified.
